1. Scope & Company Information
These terms and conditions apply to all price estimates, repair requests, quotations, and repair service agreements via fixophone.nl, offered by FIXORA in the Netherlands under Dutch law (Dutch Civil Code Book 7). [DRAFT — Required from owner prior to launch: Official legal entity name, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration number (8 digits), VAT identification number (NL...B..), and statutory correspondence address.]
2. Pricing Policy & Indicative Estimates
All amounts shown in the online repair estimator are indicative reference prices in EUR including 21% Dutch VAT for private consumers. They never constitute a binding offer or final repair price. Where a 'From' rate is shown, multiple component grades or replacement part variants may exist. Professional cleaning of the charging port is provided free of charge (€0) for supported models; full technical replacement of the charging connector is a separate chargeable repair. Liquid damage assessments, component-level motherboard repairs, and unlisted faults always require individual diagnostics. [DRAFT — To be confirmed by owner: Any standard diagnostic fee policy for non-repairable complex motherboard cases.]
3. Quotations & Customer Approval
No repair work is ever performed and no charges are applied without your prior explicit approval. After assessing your request or physically inspecting the device, FIXORA provides a clear quotation with a defined validity period (default 7 days / 168 hours). You can accept or decline the quotation via the unique secure approval link provided. If you decline, no repair costs are charged and your device can be returned. When a new or revised quotation is issued, any prior quotation link expires immediately and automatically.
4. Postal Dispatch & Amstelveen Studio Handover
Submitting the online repair form registers your request and issues an order reference and tracking link, but does not book an automatic appointment or create a shipping label. For postal shipments, the customer must package the device securely with adequate shock-absorbing padding. Return shipping by FIXORA is handled via insured courier parcel with Track & Trace (PostNL or DHL). In-person handover at the Amstelveen studio takes place exclusively by confirmed appointment; the exact location details are shared following appointment confirmation to ensure privacy and workshop security.
5. Payment Terms & Invoicing
Repair charges become due upon your approval of the final quotation and prior to return dispatch of the device, or upon in-person collection at the Amstelveen studio. FIXORA charges no unexpected inspection fees without prior agreement. Payment is completed via secure digital payment methods (such as an iDEAL payment link or bank transfer) or by debit PIN card upon in-person collection. For security reasons, FIXORA does not accept cash payments. Upon payment, you receive an itemized digital invoice detailing the performed work and installed parts. [DRAFT — To be confirmed by owner: Final payment provider and payment terms.]
6. Right of Withdrawal & Cancellation
Prior to approving the quotation, you may cancel your repair request at any time free of charge; in this case no repair fees are charged and the device is returned (subject only to agreed return shipping costs, if applicable). Once you approve the quotation, you explicitly request FIXORA to commence repair work immediately. In accordance with Article 6:230p(d) of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek), the statutory right of withdrawal expires once the repair service has been fully performed with your prior explicit consent. If you cancel after repair work has already partially begun, you are liable only for a proportional fee covering the work actually performed and specific parts already installed up to that moment.
7. Warranty Policy & Exclusions
FIXORA provides written warranty coverage on completed repair work and installed replacement parts. This commercial warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights under mandatory Dutch law (Dutch Civil Code). Excluded from warranty coverage are: (a) subsequent drop, impact, or pressure damage occurring after return of the device; (b) new or worsened liquid or moisture ingress after handover; (c) repairs or disassembly by third parties or the customer; (d) normal battery capacity loss through standard usage; (e) software defects or operating system updates. [DRAFT — To be decided by owner: Final warranty duration (standard 6 or 12 months) and dispute resolution board.]
8. Responsibilities, Data Loss & Liability
As the customer, you are solely responsible for creating a complete backup of all data, media, and settings on your device prior to submission, as well as removing SIM cards and protective cases. FIXORA is not liable for data loss or required software reconfigurations resulting from technical repair procedures. Customers are obliged to truthfully disclose any known previous liquid damage, prior repair attempts by third parties, or latent defects. FIXORA performs all services in accordance with professional industry standards (Art. 7:401 Dutch Civil Code). FIXORA is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, nor for pre-existing internal micro-fractures in circuit boards or glass layers caused by prior drop impacts that only become evident during technical disassembly. In all cases, FIXORA's total liability is strictly limited to the invoice amount of the specific repair, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
